Distribuzione

Le due specie note di questo genere sono tipiche dell'mwdgAmerica meridionale, in particolare in mwdwCile, mweaArgentina e mweqParaguay.cite-ref-salticidae-1-0[1]

Tassonomia

La specie tipo di questo genere venne denominata mwgaPhiale pantherina mwgqMello-Leitão, 1946; uno studio dell'aracnologa mwggMaría Elena Galiano del 1995 l'ha fatta assurgere a genere a sé con cambio di denominazionecite-ref-salticidae-1-1[1].

A maggio 2010, si compone di due speciecite-ref-salticidae-1-2[1]:

• mwjgTrydarssus nobilitatus mwka(Nicolet, 1849) — Cile
• mwkwTrydarssus pantherinus mwlq(mwlgMello-Leitão, 1946)cite-ref-2[2] — Paraguay, Argentina
